Getting ready to go! T-2 days...

We're getting packed and organized for our big trip south! Leaving Sunday, as soon as we get loaded up and ready to go. I'm just trying out the new blog to make sure we can include photos (easily) with text around them.

Here's the popup in the driveway, popped up and ready to be loaded.

We've got a few new gadgets for this trip: some new storage ideas, rugs for the floor, etc. Always a work-in-progress. :-)

Hmm, loading photos is easy but getting the layout right is a little trickier. We'll see how this works.

Here's our itinerary, for the trip down to Legoland (via the Bay Area). I still need to reserve camping spots for the trip back, but inland there appear to be lots of openings still. The plan is to come up I-5 on the way back, stopping for three nights, and arriving back home on Wednesday, July 18th. [Just made reservations for the three stops - noted below.]

Sun July 1: Off to Nehalem Bay
Wed July 4: Harris Beach (southern Oregon)
Thurs July 5: Russian Gulch (near Mendocino, CA)
Fri July 6: Arrive in Bay Area. Stay with Fongs for two nights (Redwood City)
Sun July 8: Spend two nights with Grace & family (Palo Alto)
Tues July 10: Off to Monterey (to the aquarium), then to Pfeiffer Big Sur to spend the night.
Wed July 11: El Capitan (Santa Barbara)
Thur July 12: San Onofre State Park, San Mateo campground (between LA and San Diego)
Fri – Sat: Legoland! (Commuting from the campground)
Sun July 15: Up I-5 to San Luis Reservoir (east of Gilroy)
Mon July 16: Castle Crags (Shasta, CA)
Wed July 18: Arrive back in Woodinville.
